One handy tool crimps 3/8”, 1/2” and 3/4” black copper rings and fits in your tool box. Meets ASTM F1807 Spec for crimping PEX. Includes tool, pouch & gauge and instructions for use.

How To Use

Step 1Simply slide a ring over the PEX tubing and insert your fitting with the copper ring positioned over the barbs on the fitting. |
Step 2Center the two halves of the pocket crimper over the ring with your standard 10” locking pliers. |
Step 3Squeeze the tool closed in four or five stages when the crimp is properly done, a piece of paper cannot be slipped between the jaws at the closest point. |
Step 4Test the crimp with the go/no-go gauge. The goo gauge should slide onto the fitting with ease. The no-go gauge must not slide over the fitting. If it does, the tubing must be recut. |
